The Senator Theatre, one of Baltimore's landmark theatres. Built in 1939 this Art Deco theater continues to operate as a single screen first run movie house. Listed on the national register of historic places and hosts world premiers by film makers including native sons Barry Levinson and John Waters. Dirty Shame premiered in September 2004. "Threatening the very limits of common decency."
