TECH NOTE: These Polaroids were shot on location and manipulated on the spot as they developed and before they hardened. The SX70 Time Zero film reacted differently depending on the outdoor temperature, on hot days the film was almost watery. Colors were added with permanent markers (or not) back at the studio.
In my style of Polaroid work I did not manipulate the entire image, I only made a few slashes and scribbles always letting the strength of the photo show through.
